About Blue Lives Matter
Blue Lives Matter was founded December 21, 2014, after NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos and Officer Wenjian Liu were ambushed and assassinated while they were sitting in their patrol car.
The killer was motivated by the false narrative that police officers actively go out and murder black men. He wanted to murder police as revenge for the shooting of Michael Brown.
The killer's belief stemmed from the narrative spread by groups such as Black Lives Matter, the media and celebrities.
A group of police officers got together to start Blue Lives Matter in order to combat the false information being spread about police.
Since the organization was formed, there have been numerous additional terrorist attacks on law enforcement. This includes the Dallas terrorist attack in 2016 when 5 officers were fatally shot and nine more wounded. The killer was also motivated by the belief that police are racist killers.
Shortly after the Dallas shooting, another terrorist shot six police officers in Baton Rouge and killed three. Again, he was convinced that police were the enemy of black people.
Law enforcement officers are being wounded and killed at an alarming rate, but society's focus has been on painting the police to be brutal killers and criminals as victims.
We know that police officers put their lives on the line every day to protect us from the worst of society.
