The Meaning Of Deus Vult

Deus Vult is Latin for “God Wills It.” It was the rallying cry of crusaders in the First Crusade.

The First Crusade was initiated in 1095 when Pope Urban II called on warriors to help the Byzantine Empire retake Anatolia form the Seljuq Turks.

The crusade was so successful that they went on to re-take the Holy Land which has been overtaken in Islamic expansion hundreds of years earlier.

The Meaning Of Veritas Vos Liberabit

(written on the sword hilt)
Veritas Vos Liberabit is Latin for “The Truth Shall Set You Free.” It comes from verse 8:32 of the Gospel of John when Jesus was addressing a group of Jews who believed in him.

This phrase was also used by the Knights Hospitaller, also known as the Order of Saint John, during the crusades.

Non Nobis Domine Non Nobis Sed Nomine Tuo Da Gloriam

(written on Templar flag behind the sword)
Latin for "Not unto us O Lord not unto us but to your Name give glory." This is the motto of the Knights Templar, which appears in Psalm 115:1.

The Meaning Of Sigillum Militum Xpisti

(written around the  KnightsTemplar Cross on the front of the shirt)
Latin for "Seal of the Soldiers of Christ," which was written around the official Seal of the Knight's Templar.

Nice shirt. Soft material. Seems well made. Best yet is each the sayings. After reading the translation of each one of the sayings, I knew I had to have this shirt

Great fitting shirt; great looks too.

Love the shirt, love the artwork, and love the fit. Quite comfortable even in hot weather; good deal all around. Love the sentiment this shirt offers, plus you get to explain things on occasion.
